Unlike other office jobs, real estate often means coming and going throughout the day. Occasionally I see a group of small children walking in a line to the park or tennis courts to run around. I love looking at the tiny people and remembering when my kids were that age. And now I know they are coming from CommuniKids.

This week my real estate office embraced the Valentine’s Day spirit. Our Team Leader, Caitlin Martinez, and our MCA, Stephanie Herndon went all out make sure everyone was feeling the LOVE.

There is something all buyers should think about before embarking on a search for their next home. Unfortunately, the media is not helping them out one bit.

My father always corrected verbal grammatical errors. Whether the perpetrator was one of his kids, a waitress, a teacher or colleague, a news reporter, or his boss; it didn’t matter. Each received the same verbal corrections. With all the texting shortcuts and emojis being used today, I feel an extra sense of responsibility for teaching children to speak and write properly. It’s not always easy or polite, but it’s crucial. Words are very important and meaningful to me.
