As many of my past and present clients in the DC Metropolitan Area found out this week, storm damage can bring up a variety of issues that you may not have thought about when you were buying your home.

New Smoke Alarm Law in Maryland

The other day I received a flyer in the mail from the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service. It said I Should Probably Check My Smoke Alarm. The word “Probably” was crossed through with a red line. It really caught my attention.
