A bedroom or not a bedroom? That is the question. It seems this issue is one that real estate agents are constantly explaining to home buyers. Often because listings have bedroom counts that appear to be wrong. What are the rules? What makes a room a bedroom?

It’s been a very long time since I spent my Sunday evenings tending bar at the Dupont Circle institution and neighborhood dive bar known as Mr. Eagan’s. In fact, it was on a St. Patrick’s Day many years ago that Jimmy Eagan closed his Irish Pub and left town. Cafe Citron now stands where Mr. Eagan’s stood for 32 years ending with Mr. Eagan’s Last Call at 1:30am, March 18, 1999. That was also the day I retired from bar tending.

Eating in Baltimore – Cafe Hon in Hampden

When my family decided to go to Baltimore for the day, I knew I wanted to check out Cafe Hon, which was recently featured on Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmare. While the cleanliness of the restuarant and freshness of the food were never in question, it was a controversy over a trademark of the word “Hon” that was having a negative impact on the restaurant. I really wanted to check it out.
