I don’t know about you, but it seems nearly impossible to find really good Italian food in the DC Metropolitan Area. Now a new store in Westover offers a delicious solution.

I know many people watch football all season and hope to see their favorite team make it to the play-offs and then the Super Bowl. I am not one of those people.

I drove by the Cabin John Center yesterday after work to see if China Gourmet Bistro was having its Grand Opening as planned. The new sign was in place and there were six large bouquets of flowers and balloons set-up outside. This would be the third Chinese Restaurant in this location since we moved to West Bethesda in 2005.

I was in need of a good strong cup of coffee so I parked at the curb across the street from Tout de Sweet and put some money in the meter. When I returned a few minutes later with my coffee in hand, this is what I found.

I don’t think there is anyone who was living during those attacks who won’t remember that horrible day. We were all stunned by news that came to us one attack after another. Some people lost loved ones. Most Americans felt the events as an attack against our country. There was a feeling that we were vulnerable.
