Last night as I was driving my daughter to basketball practice she asked me if the high school she will attend is a good one. What she really wanted to know was how it measured up against some other local high schools where her teammates will attend.

I was under the impression that DC high school graduates were allowed to pay in-state tuition anywhere in the US. But I recently heard something very different from one of my DC clients who was getting ready to send a kid to college.
