Colorful Bethesda, Maryland

Bethesda is a Very Colorful Place

Bethesda is a Very Colorful Place…

And now it’s even more colorful.

I’m not sure if this is an official directive for Bethesda, or if it’s a bunch of renegade artists or vandals, but it appears that many corners now have a lot more color than they used to. It appears that many of the utility boxes in Bethesda have been painted fun bright colors.

Here are just a few that I’ve noticed:

On the corner of Seven Locks and Bradley we have Pink:

On the corner of Bradley and Fernwood we have Red:

On the corner of Bradley and Howell we have Yellow, but it is not completely painted. Could it be that the vandals were spotted half way through?

On the corner Bradley and Wilson you’ll find dark Blue:

I just realized that there is a Purple utility box at the corner of River and Bradley which is in Potomac, Maryland. So I should say Potomac colorful as well.

Have you spotted any other brightly colored utility boxes in the area? Do you know if this was part of an official plan? I’d like to think that concerned citizens would paint the speed traps along Bradley Boulevard so they would stand out instead of the utility boxes. Any info you can share would be appreciated.

In the meantime, enjoy the fact that Bethesda is a very colorful place. And now just a little more colorful.

If you or someone you know is thinking about buying a home in Bethesda, Maryland, give me a call to get started.
