Eating in Bethesda – Tia Queta Restaurant

June 4, 2014

There are so many great restaurants in Bethesda and I’ve been waiting for the warm weather to start enjoying the many outdoor eating options available in the older side of Bethesda..

Tia Queta Margarita

Tia Queta Restaurant was very good in the cold weather. The service was great and the food was fresh and delicious. The margaritas weren’t bad either, but seeing the rooftop deck made me realize that I’d have to return as soon as warm weather arrived. The first time I ate at Tia Queta, the waitress recommended the Pollo en Salsa Verde, which didn’t look very exciting, but was really good. It was not something I had tried before, but would definitely order it again. It seemed to go well with a margarita. (see right)

Susan at Tia QuetaOne nice warm day, my colleague and I decided check out the roof deck. Other people had the same idea. There was that lovely feeling that happens when it first warms up in Bethesda. It feels like happy hour even though it’s lunch time.

We asked our Waiter for his recommendations. He said the soft tacos were really good so we gave them a try. Susan tried the shrimp tacos and I tried the pork tacos. He was right. The tacos were delicious.

Shrimp TacosFriendly patrons near us seemed to enjoy their food as well. There was a fun feeling in the roof top bar at Tia Queta. I think we should check out their happy hour one day soon. You should check it out too.

Tia Queta is located at 4839 Del Ray Avenue, Bethesda, Maryland 20814. Maybe I’ll see you there.
